Begins the first cycle 'Alhaurín Film', of which the first phase will last until May

This ambitious programme is part of the"Circuitos de Espacios Escénicos of the Board of Andalusia. The entry will be completely free

'Alhaurín Film'. This is the evocative name of the new project by the council of Culture, which is managed by Marina Grande. This is the first cycle of films that takes place in the town and aspires to remain throughout the year, and that in its first edition provides projections on a biweekly schedule until May, with completely free entry to the capacity of the Assembly Hall Cultural Centre Vicente Aleixandre. So far, in previous years there have been specific cycles of German expressionist cinema or genres of terror in the world. On this occasion, the ambitious program is part of the "Circuitos de Andalusian Spacios Escénicos" of the Ministry of Culture within the Public Company for Management of Cultural Programs of the Junta de Andalucía, which gives the cycle a more permanent nature in time. In fact, the second phase of this project is expected for October.

'Alhaurín Film' contemplates projecting very current movie titles, both Spanish and foreign, from all walks of life possible, especially documentaries that are of a social nature and have less time showing in the circuits of large commercial cinemas.
The functions begin next Thursday, May 27, at eight in the afternoon, with a screening of the film that won the Malaga Film Festival 2007, 'Under the stars', by Felix Viscarret (not recommended for children younger than 13 years) . Its length is 108 minutes and starring are Alberto San Juan and Emma Suarez.
