Civil Defence reminds of the prohibition on burning outside the days and hours marked by the Government of Andalusia.
Authorization must request from the Ministry of Environment of the Board, formality that can be done in the council House.

taking in consideration the time of the year and the reiteration and warnings of burnings that have been occurring repeatedly, as a prevention against the risk of fires during these hot and dry days, Civil Protection of Alhaurín de la Torre, reminds of the explicit ban on burning, either in areas of forest area or outside them, when they are not made in the months, days and hours that Decree of 27/2001 of November 13, on Preventing and combating forest fires, from the Ministry of Environment of the Board of Andalusia, dictates.
Zone forestry
Thus, in areas which are less than 400 meters of forestry areas (Jabalcuza or Jarapalos), fires can only be made between the months from October to May. Equally burnings can not be made on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. And in any case the timetable is from 8 am to 2 pm.
To allow these, prior authorization has to be requested from the Ministry of Environment of Andalusia, step that can be done in the Council House. Until the communication is received from the Government of Andalusia, burnings can not be made.
Other areas
In areas other than forestry areas, burning may occur any month of the year, except when there is an order to the contrary by the Ministry of Environment, but like the previous ones, fires may be made only from 8 am to 2 pm. Likewise they are expressly prohibited in Saturday, Sunday or holiday. Permission must be sought with at least 15 days of before from the council.
Authorization of burning
Forestry areas:
Urbanizations Tabico, Vaguada de la Sierra, El Lagar, High Springs area and Fuensanguínea, Villamonte, Pines of Alhaurín and in general, all those areas that are less than 400 meters from a forest area.
- Authorization only from October to May.
- Hours exclusive: from 8 am to 2 pm.
- Specific ban on Saturday, Sunday or holiday.
- Step: Request from the Board of Andalusia can be done in the Council House. If it is approved, can only start burning on receipt of the notification from the Board of Andalusia
Other areas
Rest of the municipality outside forest area.
- Autorización during any month of he year, unless there is an Order to the contrary.
- Hours exclusive: from 8 am to 2 pm.
- Ban also on Saturday, Sunday or holiday.
- Step: Apply the council with at least 15 days before the scheduled date for completion of the burn.
Civil Defence said, that non-compliance with these regulations may carry administrative penalty and, in the case of forest areas, criminal proceedings.
