Remodeling in entirety of the head office of AAVV Torrealquería

Tomorrow Friday 18th the show starts in the neighbourhood. It is thought to construct a new playground faced with an increasing young population.

The headquarters of the AAVV Torrealquería has been fully reformed. After several months of work by staff of operational services, there has been made a total refurbishment of its headquarters which had a considerable seniority and needed a new comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation.

The idea emerged at the beginning of the year by the councillors of operational services, Juan Jose Gonzalez and delegate district councillor Pablo Montesinos, who contacted members of the Board of Directors of the association and undertook the task.

A multitude of works has been realized: painting, change of doors and windows, railings, stairs, electrical connections, rehabilitation of courtyards and construction of toilets for the disabled, ballroom and multiple uses, offices and a new computer room with the provision of ten places of connection to give classes or surf the Internet.

The mayor Joaquin Villanova accompanied by several councillors of government and the president of the neighbourhood association unveiled a commemorative plaque of the rehabilitation and conversed with the numerous neighbours assembled there.

The councilman SSOO wishes to express his congratulations to operatives of his department, as they have worked hard during these months to get the play list and finished before the fair Torrealquería being held during the festival of the virgin del Carmen and starting tomorrow, Friday, July 18 with the traditional Mass at 20.30 in the parish of the quarter and subsequent procession of the image through the streets of the pedanía.

The fair which starts tomorrow will last until Sunday and during there will be music, dancing and partying in the municipal stand, in addition to the traditional games and other activities throughout the day, as well as the choice of queen and ladies.

Also, in another order of things, the continued redevelopment of the neighbourhood started months ago and after the new infrastructure already installed this is beginning to steel the streets. Within these works to improve the neighbourhood Torrealquería, councillor of the SSOO, Juan Jose Gonzalez, has announced the readiness of the council to make a new playground in the neighbourhood, something demanded by the neighbours that after the occupation of the 100 dwellings of VPO, the population has increased substantially and this is formed mostly by young couples who have children.
