Volumetric bags distributed free to put in toilet cisterns

In this time of summer that the town suffers from lack of rainfall and are suffering from a worrying drought , the councillor for the Environment has launched an awareness campaign to save water with a symbolic but effective measure. This is the distribution of volume reducing free plastic bags, to deposit in the toilet cisterns. They have a capacity of one litre of water and also come with some magnets containing different advice to reduce consumption and which are placed on the doors of refrigerators and therefore located for easy reading.
The campaign "Drop by drop is drained, regulate water" has been presented this morning by the councillor of the area, Marina Grande. These plastic bags have a simple maintenance, fill with tap water and add a few tablespoons of salt, In order that the molecular weight makes them settle at the back of the cistern and is not a nuisance to the mechanisms, whenever the WC is in use, The water saving that takes place is from 15 to 20 % depending on the capacity of the container, this can suppose an important quantity bearing in mind the times that the cistern is used, so it is advisable to put into service of the house system that is used most. The consumption saved is estimated to be 4,000 litres per person per year.
The water wheel on the other hand is an ingenious mechanism that is a magnet to be adhered to the refrigerator door and contains a significant amount of useful tips to reduce consumption particularly in the use of various appliances, such as cooking or cleaning staff.
The councillor made available to citizens 4,000 units of each of these Gadgets that can be taken free of charge at the Department of Environment of the council for visitors and people who want to collaborate with this initiative, Having foreseen at the beginning of September a campaign of distribution of bags and sensitization of saving in water consumption in public colleges.
The campaign is jointly conducted by several town halls in Andalusia, is funded by the Consistory and a subsidy from the Government of Andalusia
